Were you denied from entering the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) hall because of thumbprint issues? Well, we have good news for you, you will still be called to write your exam.
This was disclosed via the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) official twitter handle.
A candidate who thumbprint issues during the 2020 UTME asked JAMB via their official twitter handle if they will still write the exam and JAMB said the board will look into all outstanding issues.
The twitter user tweets read: “Some of us haven’t still written our exams for 2020 due to thumbprint issues, we were re_registered and told that we would be called upon to write our exams then this pandemic break again. My question is what is our fate? Are we still going to write??“
JAMB reply: “The Board will look into all outstanding issues on individual merit, as soon as the present global challenge is addressed.“
Just for the record, this page solves the problem of those searching; jamb candidates with a biometric problem, jamb unverified candidate 2020, jamb thumbprint failure
