The Students’ Union Government of the Federal Polytechnic Ilaro has resolved that students that are living off-campus will not be paying house rent for the remainder of the 2019/2020 academic session.
This was contained in a statement signed by the executive members of the union.
The statement read, “We bring glad tidings to all students of federal polytechnic Ilaro.
It’s now a resolution that all students staying outside the school campus are NOT to pay house rent for the rest of the 2019/2020 academic session.
The decision was made on Wednesday 16th of September 2020 after a meeting which was held by the school management, the community, landlord/landlady, the student union representative, and other dignitaries.
However, it is strongly advised to be of good behavior. No student should disrespect his/her Landlord or Landlady.
N.B you might be asked to pay for utility bills such as NEPA bill etc”
